Spending so much time with these two litters of fox kits was such a treat. Their behavior became much more relaxed once they got used to me. This tender moment is one of my favorites. They played rough but they were very protective of each other. A Tender Moment
I had been photographing these foxes for about half an hour when their mom came back with lunch. They all ran off behind the rocks to eat, but I waited there to see if they would come back. After a while this little one peeked out to see if I was still there. Are You Still There?

One day a group of about 50 wild horses ran toward me and then stopped to see what I was doing. I was frustrated because I couldn't get all of them in one shot. This group was the closest and they stood for a couple of photos, then the entire bunch took of running again, kicking up their heels. Curious Crew
I found this marmot on the Highline Trail in Glacier National Park. He genuinely seemed to enjoy having his picture taken and came closer the longer I sat there. I was grateful that he took time out of his busy day to allow me to get this photograph. Handsome Marmot

I spent several months with these fox kits and they became quite comfortable with my presence. It took three weeks to get this photo. They leap so fast that by the time I got the camera on the fox kit that was leaping, the leap was over. I was thrilled to finally get this shot. Leap!
My dog and I were taking an early morning walk near our house and we heard a rustling. Suddenly this weasel jumped out of the tall grass and onto this old fence post. I'm not sure who was more surprised. He stayed for a few minutes looking at us and then took off into the grass and was gone. Morning Weasel
Peek-A-Boo
These baby foxes would walk right up to me and it took all my will not to reach out and touch them, but I didn't want them to lose their innate fear of humans since I knew that would put them in danger in the future. These Canadian Bighorn sheep were in an area where they didn't encounter too many people so they were pretty relaxed about me being there. This guy looked like he was even smiling at me for his photo. Smiling Ram
